Who was the thief?

Tommy was the thief. He was not telling the truth. He stole it.

Pour Show.

We use the letter A to stand for the 24 ounce pitcher, the letter B to stand for the 13 ounce jug, the letter C
to stand for the 11 ounce jug, and the letter D to stand for the 5 ounce jug. We also use ">" to represent the
 pouring action.

Who was the thief this time?

If Scott was the thief, then what he said should be true and agree with what Robert said. However, Robert said Scott
was the thief which was in conflict with this assumption. So we know Scott was not the thief.

If Tommy was the thief, then all three were telling the truth. Since, according to the police, we knew at least one
was lying, therefore Tommy cannot be the thief.

Robert therefore must be the thief. Scott also told the truth, but Tommy was lying.

Who is Older?

Since there is no conflict between what they said, it meant that either they both told a lie or both told the truth.

If one of them lied then they both must have lied, therefore the answer is the brother is older.

Continuous Line

A terminal point is defined as a connection point with odd number of lines connected to it. If there are 2 terminal
points in the figure then one must be the starting point and the other must be the ending point. If there is no
terminal point at all in the figure, then the drawing can start from any point and finish at any point.

Start from the terminal point A or B and finish it on the other terminal point B or A as shown in the figure.

Moving Matches

Move the matches around the inside so that the heads all meet in the middle and the other ends join the inside joints of the other pairs of matches.

Jimmy's Mother

Jimmy. "JIMMY'S MOTHER had 4 children"!

Hungry Bear

White. The only place you can hike 3 miles south, then east for 3 miles, then north for 3 miles and end up back at your starting point is the North Pole. There are only polar bears in the north pole, and they are white!

Winning Ways?

Second Place. If you pass the person in second, you take second place, and they become third.

Every Pitcher tells a Story

If you pour from 16 pints pitcher to 10 pints pitcher, it might be a long way to go. Here is the solution:

A Barrel of Laughs

Two half-full barrels are dumped into one of the empty barrels. Two more half-full barrels are dumped into another
one of the empty barrels. This results in nine full barrels, three half-full barrels, and nine empty barrels. Each son
gets three full barrels, one half-full barrel, and three empty barrels.

Mountain Anxiety

Mt. Everest. It was still the highest in the world - it just hadn't been discovered yet!

I bet you can't wait until the next issue for more challenges!!
